The first thing that struck me about the beer from
Lucid Brewing out of Minnesota was how unbelievably cool the bottle labels are. They're really arty and different. That being said, the beer is pretty damn good too. The Silo is a Saison, a light, Belgian style beer that's perfect for summer drinking. The brew is a hazy orange with a good, sudsy head and smells of spice and malt. Those malts and spices are prevalent in the beer's flavor, though there are some light hints of banana and orange in the mix as well. And you gotta love all that carbonation. Summertime beer! Hooray!
