We're not officially starting yet (check back this weekend), but seeing as we're a Texas blog, i figured it was well worth it to start with Lone Star, the official beer of punk rock and heavy metal shows all through the state. Short on the flow? A sixer of this domestic lager is usually less than six bucks. Want more bang for the buck? Make that a sixer of tall boys. You really can't go wrong with this brew. It will serve in a pinch. You can get it anywhere (at least in this state). And it tastes better than the other mega-domestics out there. The only real downside is that cheep beers are usually embraced by hipsters. And hipsters suck. (I should know. I kind of am one.)
