Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout...that's a mouthful. And it is a mouthful. A delicious mouthful. This is a dark brew that tastes a little bitter and a little sweet at the same time (if that makes any sense at all). I almost feel like i should be eating a pastry with a pint of the stuff. The first sip was really heady and heavy, but with each progressive taste, the beer got smoother and smoother. At any rate, i highly recommend this awesome stout from
North Coast Brewing Co. It's a perfect beer for a chilly day, but watch yourself, the 9% alcohol by volume packs a punch after a bit.
